Born and raised in and around Seattle, WA, I have always had a deep love for the arts. I spent my high school years specializing in drawing and painting during school hours and rehearsing, taking classes, and performing at a local community theater. When I attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR I decided to focus my energy on double majoring in Theater and Psychology, with a minor in vocal studies. It was toward the end of college that I discovered a love for design.
After graduating from Lewis & Clark College in 2011, I became an account and project manager with a small podcasting company in Portland. This passion for podcasting has continued and has become my career, as well as supporting clients with content creation, copywriting, and more. When I'm not sitting behind a computer or on my phone (for work, I swear!), I am either hovering over the stove, hiding behind my camera, or sitting at a ceramics wheel. I started writing my food blog, Serious Crust in late 2011, and it has provided a space for me to practice my crafts on a subject I truly love: food. |
